Born
in Poland, earning her diploma in Commercial Art and Advertising before
setting her roots in Canada more than 20 yrs ago. Expanded her studies by taking many
additional art courses at Dundas Valley School of Art, ranging from
Graphic Design to Creative Water Colour. Likes to continually try
different things/styles and currently has a portfolio that includes a
variety of media from; computer graphic design, publishing a newspaper
and a magazine, children's book illustrations, oil and acrylic painting,
watercolour, portraits in pencil, and window painting as well as, huge
wall artwork (murals) for private and commercial clients.
According to
Danuta - "There are two loves in my live; my two beautiful daughters and
my artwork. Of course my kids come first, but working for myself gives
me an opportunity to fit my job into our lives and not the other way
around." Danuta considers herself as a 'realistic' painter and loves to
paint; nature, fruit, people and flowers. She is also fascinated with
old Italy and Greece and enjoys painting old broken; vases, pottery,
columns and walls etc. Currently lives and creates in her home studio in
Dundas/Hamilton, Ontario. |
